Happy President's Day...

My days have been running together since about...October. When I last worked. But apparently today is the day we celebrate Washington's and Lincoln's birthdays.  Yay dead guys! You're more dead LOL sorry, I know I should mock the dead. Would that count as mocking? I don't know...

Anyways I was reading through some blogs I'm following and it dawned ob me... my name here in NERDYGIRLPHOTOGRAPHER! And the amout of pictures I've been taking on my phone is ridiculous. So now that I've got the Blogger apparently installed and I'm updating more, I'm gonna try attaching pictures to my posts. I might have to do a few that are just pictures so I feel like I'm caught up.

The picture I'm attaching is from February 19, 2011 at Denny's in Pasadena. My best friend got a sundae and when She finished a piece if chocolate had formed a little heart. <3 I'll be the first to admit, I am a hopeless romantic. I just can't help myself.

I'm going to Pasadena again today. We, my best friend and I, think We may have found a Lady of the Lake (Manda you know what I mean) equivalent up here called Alexandria II. Very exciting. High hopes, high high hopes.

Vampires and Rain

That's how my day has been spent. I'd say it's raining cats and dogs out there but all the animals are sleeping. Lol

I've been curled up in bed, under the blanket my husband uses, watching True Blood. Odd how this part of my coping. I finished my snakes coloring and that didn't feel like it was helping either...

One of our outside cats came to us this morning crying. He couldn't close his mouth and he was covered in dirt. So, my first time ever touch my favorite outside cat was to shove him in a carrier and cart him off to the scary vets. The doctor said it was likely he was hit by a car, but without x-rays they couldn't know for sure the extent of the damage. She laid out for us what the financial situation would be for fixing him up and caring for him and it was just overwhelming. She said it was that or just put him down. The extent of his injuries were possibly too much, even if we did try to fix him. So we let him go meet God. He wasn't our inside cat but he was still one of our babies, we watched him grow up. When they brought him out to us they said that they couldn't even close his jaw again, his teeth were broken as was the front of his jaw and then the whole thing was dislocated. My poor little Squeaker...

So, rain and vampires. That's what helps...

i feel like a worried parent...

My best friend has been in school to become a cosmotologist for the last I don't know how long. LOL but today is the day she takes the test to get her license. I got to be her model, the person she performed everything on. We've been up since 5 this morning to get over here to Glendale for her 645 check-in. It has been one very long morning, especially since we didn't eat anything. She's taking the written part now while I sit in her family's van waiting. I'm so proud of her though. She worked her ass off to get through this process and she's really good at what she does. The pressure that gets put on all these girls for their test is so dumb. No salon says you have to do finger waves and pin curls in 20 mins and NO TALKING! So dumb. But she got it done. (She actually just came back from the written LOL) Now to get some NOMS! lol

why am i not asleep?!

*dials number for Sandman* "Hey, where are you?...Not coming? Why not?!...Traffic, at this hour?... You suck." I can't sleep.

I posted that about 3 hours ago on my Facebook and twitter. I still haven't slept. I don't know what my deal is. I'm friggin tired, I wanna sleep, I just can't get there. And the worst part is the dizzy I have. I feel like I'm gonna fall even though I'm in bed. Let me tell you how awesome it is....

Brighter note, yesterday, after being made to feel guilty by all my single friends, I had a wonderful evening with my husband. We went and saw The Machanic, with Jason Stratham. Pretty standard for one of his movies but pretty good all the same. Jer thought it was worth the money. LOL

Him and Kandie both are sawing logs. LOL jerks are actually asleep. I watched the entire first season of Instant Star on Netflix tonight. Not the wisest thing but, hey, I like the show and I've got a mean case of insomnia. Why not? I would be watching season 2 but it was struggling to start up. So here I am.

Go figure, now that I'm writing this my eyes are getting heavy... it might be the rain outside that's helping. I love the sound of rain. Its wonderful.

The house is waking up now. Maybe its a good time to attempt this shut eye thing everyone is snoring about.
