I am the worst at blogging. I remember in high school, after I finished in my typing class, before the internet block went up, I would go onto my LJ and just babble. In fact, I kinda wanna go back and read those. Just to see how dumb High School Sam was. :)
Like I said, it's almost another year. In fact it maybe be real close to a year since my last blog. I talked about the new year starting in two months or something. Here we are again, two months out from 2013. Halloween is 23 days away. Thanksgiving is in 44 days. Christmas is in 77 days. Life is about to get seriously more hectic. I can't say that I'm too excited about that :( I don't enjoy hectic. Busy, yes. Hectic, kill it with fire.
Jer and I are trying to go to Disneyland this month. Keeping the tradition of Disneyland at Halloweentime for our Honeymoon Anniversary. It's pricey, but we're saving for it. I want to actually take my camera this time and take lots of pictures. I can't remember if I did last year. I didn't have the best time. It was hot and Jer wasn't as happy as I was to be there. He's promised me what I call "perfect husband" when we go this year. haha So far so good.
Halloween time in RL though means, now, decorating my store. No one else wants to. But no one wants to order the stuff I need either. It's like if I'm not there to do something then by God, it will never get done. I love decorating, especially for Halloween. And if the company sends us stuff that we can use, they WHY CAN'T WE USE THEM?!?! If I have to be annoying, so be it. They brought it upon themselves! :D
Along with Halloween, starts the rush. I don't know why. We're a drug store. It's not like we have GIFTS. We have knick knacks basically. lol The items we do have, aren't AMAZE-BALLS quality. They aren't the lost Jewels of Alexandria. They're cheapy products with cheapy prices. But we still get slammed. It's already started. And then we have douchebag customers who only buy products to get the extrabucks then turn around and return the product. I really wanna punch those people. But I'm not allowed to. I have to let them.
The sooner we get to the Christmas season and get it over with...the better. Then we can work on cleaning up our store again. lol My manager did give me leave to use store items so long as I don't favor one holiday over the other! SOOOOO, spiderwebs and decor. AND lights and snow!!! I can't wait.
Wow, this has been a long blog for me. I had planned on talking about more than just work. But I guess I'll save that for another one. I hope, really hope, to use this more. I need to get stuff out instead of just bottling it up and not talking about it. So let's hope I can stick to it this time. Well...that's all for now!
